To whomever might be reading this,

Several years ago I discovered nail art through this groovy method called "Airbrushing". Sure I'd seen it on t-shirts but on a nail?! Nail technicians by nature are curious and love something new, so I sought out Vicki Irvine of Nailparts to find out more about this artform. At that time, Vicki was one of the very few industry professionals who had faith in the future of airbrushing and had researched and trained herself to become an expert. Thank goodness she did. Since taking my training over 2 years ago now, I have never looked back. I had a new "string to my bow" which I became known for within my local area, and this acted as a drawcard for new clients.

I really recommend airbrushing, it's a great way to increase income and interest to your salon, it's fun and surprisingly easy. My clients love airbrushing, and many of them prefer it now to traditional nail polish or nail art. Airbrushing wears very well, can be tailored to suit an outfit, can comprise of a simple or highly elaborate design, and dries instantly on the nail.- so all you have to wait for is the topcoat and your client leaves happy until her next appointment. You cannot compare the crispness of an airbrush french to any other french application technique, airbrush french looks perfect.

If you want to check out my work, please feel free to visit the galleries at my website: http://www.patash.com.au/jaibt or contact me on the numbers above.

Keep smiling

The following is part of an email from Caity O'Connor.......

........I wasn't even sure if I was ever going to do nails again.) 2 things changed my mind:

1) I went and did two days training with Vicki Irvine from Nailparts. OMG!!!! This airbrush thing is INCREDIBLE!! Learnt all kinds of nifty things and even got to meet up with another list member (hey Jodi! How's the airbrushing going?)

I was truly amazed at how good the results were that I was getting even as
a beginner. I'm sure I'll look back in 6 months and cringe, but I am
already proud enough of my work to show it to other nail techs.

Had a slight problem with my airbrush - a factory fault, which Vicki took
care of in her usual prompt, professional and pleasant manner. (No she's
not paying me to say this, she just works very hard and does an outstanding
job, if you're after an airbrush, try Nailparts!).....

But with the right tool for the job - it's magic!

Anyway, I have been getting compliments on my nails wherever I go - and
I'm wearing a simple 3 color design - opaque peach, with transparent
fuchsia sprayed through a zebra print stencil, followed by transparent
orange sprayed through the same stencil (with no attempt made to match
where the stencil was, it's just random.) So much so that I am going to
have new business cards printed up and I think make myself a new company
and be in business for myself. And this from thinking I'll never do nails
again only about 4 weeks ago!!!!!!
